"I am both excited and honored to be the next President of ACG New York," Deiner said.  "Under the leadership of Martin Okner and Steve Prostor, our organization has collaboratively developed and implemented a strong strategic plan supported by an active and hardworking board.  We have become the largest of ACG's over 50 chapters.  I look forward to continuing the momentum.  It is my vision that New York will always be the biggest, the best, the leader….period!"

The new members of the organization's 34-member board are Angela Michael, previously a vice president within Alternatives at JPMorgan Asset Management; Marcia Nelson, practice growth manager at Anchin, Block & Anchin; and Hector Perez, a client service partner at Tatum.

ACG New York elected Todd Kinney, National Relationship Director of  BDO US A, LLP's private equity practice, as executive vice president, a new position.  It elected Ted Chasinoff, managing director at CBIZ MHM, LLC, as treasurer; David Acharya, a partner at Ascend Global Investments, LLC, as vice president of programming; and Mr. Perez as vice president for membership.  The board reappointed Maureen McCarthy, principal, Law Offices of M.W. McCarthy, as its secretary.

Deiner , Chasanoff, and Kinney will join Okner, McCarthy and Robert (Bobby) M. Blumenfeld, ACG New York's executive director, on the organization's six-person executive committee.

Terms of office for the president and chairman are two years.  The board positions are for three-year terms.
