Sun National Bank Names Three to New Lending Team in Central New Jersey

Sun National Bank has grown its commercial lending team to expand its focus in Central New Jersey.  The bank has appointed Patrick Farrell Senior Vice President and Regional Manager to lead the new territory.  Steven Forleiter has been named Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, and Brian Schoener has been named Vice President and Relationship Manager of this Central New Jersey commercial lending team.  Experienced lenders who are well-known in the regional banking industry and business community, Farrell, Forleiter and Schoener will develop business and manage commercial client relationships in Mercer, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.

Patrick Farrell is an accomplished financial services leader with more than 25 years of experience in commercial and consumer banking.  Before joining Sun, he held progressive leadership roles at TD Bank, including national sales manager of the healthcare professionals group and regional vice president of commercial, small business and retail lending in Central New Jersey.  Earlier in his career, he was a commercial lender at the former Summit Bank and CoreStates Bank. 

Steven Forleiter, who has more than 25 years in the commercial banking industry, is a former vice president and senior business development officer with Webster Business Credit Corp.  In that role he developed new business and served clients throughout Central and Southern New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania.  In the past, Forleiter served on commercial lending teams at TD Bank, PNC Bank and Trust Company Bank of New Jersey (North Fork Bank).  Forleiter is a member of the Association of Mergers & Acquisition Alliance, the Risk Management Association and Garden State Credit Associates.

Brian Schoener was a vice president and relationship manager in commercial lending at M&T Bank, with a territory of Central N.J., based out of Princeton, before joining Sun National Bank.  He also spent 15 years at TD Bank /Commerce Bank, where he was named "#1 Small Business Relationship Manager" in TD Bank's entire footprint for three consecutive years and also held progressively responsible positions in retail banking.  Schoener has been an active member on the Central New Jersey board of directors of Junior Achievement of New Jersey and an active member of the Mid Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
