Polsky Joins Getzler Henrich as Managing Director in New York

Getzler Henrich announed that Dan Polsky has joined the firm as a managing director in the New York office. "Dan's 30 years of diversified experience, his reputation as a seasoned restructuring professional in formal bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, and his deep knowledge of the health care and retail industries, are a perfect fit for us," commented co-chairman Bill Henrich.
 
Co-chairman Joel Getzler notes, "While Dan's understanding of creditors' rights is deep, he also has considerable experience advising companies and their management teams."

Polsky's expertise includes recovery and litigation strategies, developing plans of reorganization, operational and strategic plans, advising on appropriate capital structures, and creating and implementing cost reduction strategies.  He has advised investors considering potential acquisitions and distressed businesses on disposition alternatives.  He has conducted fraud, fraudulent transfer, preference and other financial investigations, performed insolvency and liquidation analyses, prepared expert reports, and provided expert testimony in connection with numerous bankruptcy litigation and restructuring matters.

Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Polsky served in a senior leadership role at a prominent global consulting firm.  He received a master’s degree in business administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.
