Houlihan Lokey, the international investment bank, today announced that Loren McCutchen has joined the firm's Due Diligence Services practice as a Director. He is based in Dallas.

McCutchen joins Houlihan Lokey following an 18-year career at Deloitte & Touche, where he began his career in the Assurance & Attestation practice and spent the majority of his career in the firm's M &A Transaction Services Group. He has worked on a broad range of acquisition and divestiture due diligence projects, advising companies' senior management teams at every stage of a transaction. He has extensive experience in numerous industry sectors including, but not limited to, financial services, consumer, manufacturing and distribution, chemicals, and several energy subsectors.

"Over the course of his career, Loren has advised clients of nearly every type on highly complex transaction-related matters, including financial sponsors, strategic buyers, lenders, and even foreign government-owned funds," said Travis Pittman, a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey in Dallas. "Houlihan Lokey thrives on delivering creative solutions to complex problems, and we pride ourselves on the breadth of both our client base and industry coverage; in these respects, Loren's experience perfectly matches the platform, and we're excited to add his intellectual capital to the Due Diligence Services practice here in Dallas," he added.

"I am delighted to have joined Houlihan Lokey," said McCutchen. "Given my prior experience, the firm's unique ability to provide clients with independent strategic advice combined with deep industry-specific knowledge is highly appealing to me, and I look forward to helping clients navigate their way through every stage of an M &A transaction process."

Mr. McCutchen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from Baylor University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs.
