Marcelo E. Sarago recently joined White Oak Global Advisors, LLC as Director of Originations. Based in the New York office, he will be responsible for originating and underwriting new investment opportunities for White Oak's private debt funds. He brings over 12 years of experience in originations and alternative debt investing, spanning all functional responsibilities including underwriting and portfolio management.

Prior to joining White Oak, Sarago served as Senior Director at ICON Investments. While there, he structured and executed transactions for both public and private companies across multiple sectors including chemicals, energy, transportation and manufacturing. He was previously a Vice President of Citigroup's Corporate M&A and Strategy Group and began his career with American Corporate Services, a boutique investment banking firm.

Sarago is a member of the Association of Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.

White Oak Global Advisors, LLC, is an SEC-registered investment adviser that directly originates private debt financings to middle-market companies to support growth initiatives. White Oak's product suite includes asset-based secured term loans and credit facilities, cash flow based term loans, unitranche facilities, rescue and debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, in/out of court restructurings, acquisition and capital expenditure facilities and other structured finance instruments.
