Gordon Brothers Finance Company Appoints Forti as Managing Director

Gordon Brothers Finance Company (GBFC) announced today that Mark Forti has joined the firm as managing director. Forti will be responsible for sourcing, originating and structuring new lending investments for Gordon Brothers Finance Company.

Forti has nearly three decades of experience as a commercial banker for leading asset-based lenders. His expertise includes identifying new clientele and opportunities, directing sales teams, managing loan portfolios and performing collateral & finance analyses. He is the most recent addition to the newly-formed Gordon Brothers Finance Company, which launched late last year.

Forti joins Gordon Brothers Finance Company from GE Capital, where he spent nine years specializing in the origination, structuring and underwriting of asset-based loans to national retailers. Prior to GE Capital, Mr. Forti spent a combined 18 years at Bank of America and its predecessor banks in a variety of roles that focused on loan structuring, underwriting and origination.

Gordon Brothers Finance Company (GBFC) is a commercial finance company focused on middle market lending.  GBFC originates and underwrites loans for both asset-rich and cash flow generating businesses across a wide spectrum of industries.  Gordon Brothers Finance Company was launched in November 2014. In connection with its formation, Gordon Brothers Finance Company acquired the majority of the portfolio and team of GB Credit Partners, the investment management affiliate of Gordon Brothers Group.
