Gordon Brothers Group to Oversee Hudson Trail Outfitters Store Closings

September 03, 2015, 07:30 AM

After serving the community for close to 5 decades, Hudson Trail Outfitters (“HTO”) has made the difficult decision to close all stores and sell off all inventory.  Going-out-of-business sales at all four Hudson Trail Outfitters retail locations will begin on September 3rd.  Promotional pricing will apply to items in all departments.  In addition, customers will also have the ability to purchase store furniture, fixtures and equipment.

Hudson Trail Outfitters, a specialty retailer of outdoor apparel and equipment has attributed its decision to close due to repeated increased costs and expenses, a competitive marketplace, and mounting pressure from online retailers.

“The community has supported us for close to 50 years – we’ve literally outfitted and helped to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, customers and employees, for almost half a century. During this transition, HTO intends to show its gratitude by offering significant discounts to all those who’ve supported us in our many shapes and forms since 1971.  The entire HTO Family has earned the right to be proud of all that they’ve accomplished for nearly 50 years.  I encourage the entire community to shop in absolute confidence during this transition,” stated, Sandy Cohan, Chief Executive Officer, Hudson Trail Outfitters.

Gordon Brothers Group will oversee the store closing sales on behalf of Hudson Trail Outfitters in all locations.  All inventory will be on sale with discounts up to 30% off.  The industry’s Top Brands will also be offered with significant savings.

Gift cards will be honored throughout the sale.
