Crestmark Names Turkish as Director of Trade Services Division

Crestmark Bank announced Steve Turkish has been promoted to director of the bank’s Trade Services Division. In this role, Turkish will lead and develop talent within the division, and expand Crestmark’s footprint within the consumer products market niche. Turkish is based in New York City.

Turkish joined Crestmark in 2013 as vice president, senior account executive when Crestmark acquired Ultimate Financial Solutions. In recent months he was promoted to first vice president, senior account executive of Crestmark’s Trade Services Division. Turkish’s career in finance, banking, and factoring spans nearly 35 years, and includes the following roles: executive vice president at Ultimate Financial Solutions for more than seven years; executive vice president and general credit manager at Sterling Factors, a subsidiary of Sterling National Bank, for more than seven years; and assistant vice president at CIT Group for 14 years. Turkish has a Bachelor of Science in education from the City University of New York – Brooklyn College.

Steven Tomasello, Crestmark executive vice president, and president of its East Division, said, “Steve’s energy and unique personality will be a great asset as he leads the Trade Services Division. He is well known and respected in the industry, and since joining the Trade Services group, Steve has made significant contributions to new business development. As director of this division, Steve is responsible for leading and developing a great team, and growing the division’s new business.”

Crestmark provides innovative financial solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses. Financing solutions include asset-based lending, accounts receivable financing, lines of credit, factoring and equipment financing.
