Crestmark Names Harbers National Sales Manager of Trade Services Division

Crestmark Bank announced that Robert Harbers has been named national sales manager for its Trade Services Division. He had been business development officer for the company’s East Division since joining the company in 2004. In his new role, he reports to Steve Turkish, director of the division. Harbers is based in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Turkish, Crestmark director of Trade Services, said, “Robert's industry experience, and excellent relationship skills, will further enhance the growth and future potential of our Trade Services Division. We are excited to have Robert as our national sales manager.”

Harbers has more than 20 years of experience in commercial finance, with many years developing new business in the wholesale apparel, textile, and furniture industries. Previously, Harbers was senior credit analyst for Capital Factors; credit manager for CMI Industries; and credit officer for Barclays Commercial Corporation (now CIT Group).

Harbers serves on the board of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA). In addition, he is a member of the Risk Management Association (RMA) of South Florida, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). He has a B.A. in business administration from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.
