BlackArch Partners Announces Promotions

BlackArch Partners announced that Johnny Conklin has been promoted to Managing Director and Ryan Jackson has been promoted to Vice President.

Mr. Conklin joined BlackArch in early 2011 and has more than a decade of experience in middle-market mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions as both an advisor and a principal. He has advised on transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $4 billion and completed more than 40 transactions during his career. Mr. Conklin serves as co-head of BlackArch’s Business & Professional Services Group in partnership with Managing Director, Kelly Katterhagen. Mr. Conklin’s specific areas of expertise include the environmental and waste, testing and inspection, facility/building automation, security and information services subsectors. In addition, he has transaction experience in the fields of Applied Technology & Digital Media; Energy; Distribution & Supply Chain Management; and Industrial Growth & Diversified Manufacturing.

Mr. Jackson returned to BlackArch in 2015 after earning his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He originally joined BlackArch in July of 2010 and was instrumental in the formation of the firm as a leading middle-market investment bank. Mr. Jackson has seven years of experience executing middle-market investment banking and capital markets transactions. Mr. Jackson’s transaction experience includes a range of sectors including: Business & Professional Services; Energy; Healthcare Services; Applied Technology & Digital Media; Aerospace, Defense & Government Services; Industrial Growth & Diversified Manufacturing; and Distribution & Supply Chain Management.
