Monroe Capital Hires Industry Veteran Adelson as Managing Director

Monroe Capital LLC announced Marc Adelson has joined the firm as Managing Director, Originations. He joins Ben Marzouk and Lee Stern in the firm’s New York office, as the firm continues to expand its presence in the New York region.

“We are very excited to add Marc to the Monroe Capital team,” said Ted Koenig, President & CEO of Monroe Capital. “Marc has an accomplished career of over 30 years providing financing solutions to middle-market companies and brings with him many great relationships and a wide range of experience across multiple industries.”

Prior to Monroe, Adelson was the Chief Credit Officer of Medallion Financial and President of its asset-based lending business. Prior to Medallion, he was CEO and President of Commercial and Trade Finance at Capital Business Credit, and before that, Co-Head of ABL at the CIT Group, Inc. for eight years. In addition, Adelson was Executive Vice President of the ABL Group at Heller Financial, where he spent 14 years. Adelson earned his B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
