Capital Alliance Corp. Expands Special Projects Group

July 07, 2017, 08:00 AM

Capital Alliance Corp., a Dallas-based investment bank that specializes in middle-market merger-and-acquisition transactions, has expanded its innovative special projects group (SPG).

The SPG team is a unique resource that the firm uses to blend research and analytics to support the needs and objectives of its clients.

"We believe that SPG is an asset that sets us apart from other middle-market M&A firms," said Bryan Livingston, managing partner. "Our team members, who are heavily focused on research, provide a creative approach in identifying prospective buyers for our sell-side clients and sellers for our buy-side clients."

The SPG team consists of the following professionals:

Gottfried Laubichler has been named senior investment banking analyst. Laubichler received his MBA and an MS degree in finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and an undergraduate degree in business administration and finance from UTD.

Casey Alan McLeod, IT director at Capital Alliance, was recently assigned to the special projects group, where he is responsible for research tools and buyer and seller outreach. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. McLeod continues to serve as the company's IT director.

Luis Quesada was named investment banking analyst. Quesada, whose first language is Spanish, focuses on Latin America research and business development services. Prior to CAC, he worked as a marketing assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas' office of information technology where he received his bachelor's degree in marketing.

Wayne Hill, who has a 10-year affiliation with Capital Alliance, recently took on a new role in the special projects group as a technical writer and editor. He utilizes his extensive experience in credit analysis and business acumen, achieved through a long and successful career as a commercial lender, to support the firm's investment bankers in presenting their M&A opportunities in CAC's straightforward, effective style. Hill received an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Houston and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
