BlackArch Partners Promotes Two to Managing Director

BlackArch Partners, a leading middle-market investment bank, announced that P.J. Martin and Ches Riley have been promoted to Managing Director.

Mr. Martin joined BlackArch in 2014 and has over fourteen years of experience executing middle-market investment banking transactions, with a particular focus on the industrials sector. Mr. Martin helps lead BlackArch's Diversified Industrials group, and has diverse industry experience across other sectors, including: Aerospace, Defense & Government Services; Business & Professional Services; Distribution & Supply Chain Management; Energy; and Industrial Growth & Diversified Manufacturing. Prior to joining BlackArch, Mr. Martin spent three years in New York City in Barclays' M&A group, where he focused on middle-market sellside transactions, and four years as an analyst and associate with Edgeview Partners, a middle-market investment bank based in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Martin earned a bachelor of arts degree from Davidson College and holds a master's degree in business administration with distinction from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.

Mr. Riley is a founding shareholder of Blackarch Partners and has over 20 years of experience in middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Riley is co-head of BlackArch's Consumer & Retail practice group, including significant transaction experience in Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, and a wide cross-section of additional industries, including Distribution & Supply Chain Management; Industrial Growth & Diversified Manufacturing; Applied Technology & Digital Media and Real Estate. Prior to helping found BlackArch, Mr. Riley was a founding shareholder of Edgeview Partners and was with First Union Securities Mergers and Acquisitions Group, formerly Bowles Hollowell Conner. Mr. Riley earned a bachelor of arts degree from Furman University and received a master of business administration degree, with a concentration in finance, from the Robinson School of Business of Georgia State University.
