PlainsCapital Bank expanded its commercial banking team in Austin, Texas, with the addition of Laura Kane and Rodney Thompson as senior vice presidents of commercial lending and Carly McCollum as commercial loan officer.

“We’re excited to welcome Laura, Rodney, and Carly to our Austin lending team—one of our core markets—where they will be instrumental in meeting the lending and banking needs of Texas’ small to mid-size businesses,” said Paul Holubec, Austin region chairman. “Whether our clients want to change the direction of their business or stay on track, it’s our goal to back their financial initiatives with high quality lending solutions and banking advice. Our new lenders’ experience in this field will broaden the spectrum of partners we can serve within the region while strengthening our position as a leading Texas-based bank.”

“The nature of the lending market requires professionals who are capable of serving a wide range of industries,” said Steve Hambrick, Texas region chairman. “Laura, Rodney, and Carly understand what it means to provide exemplary service and well-suited products to business owners, which makes them a good fit for our talented Austin lending group.”
