BlackArch Partners Announces Promotions

BlackArch Partners, a middle-market investment bank offering a full spectrum of advisory services, announced Johnny Conklin has been promoted to director and Adam Smith has been promoted to vice president.

Conklin joined BlackArch in early 2011 and has more than a decade of experience in middle-market investment banking and alternative debt capital transactions, including more than 30 sell-side, buy-side, strategic advisory and capital raising engagements.  As co-head of BlackArch’s Business & Professional Services Group – along with Managing Director, Kelly Katterhagen – Conklin’s area of focus has primarily been with B2B, technology-enabled business models operating in the facility/building automation, security, energy, healthcare and consumer end markets. 

Smith joined BlackArch in the spring of 2012 and was previously an entrepreneur and operator in the consumer, retail and technology sectors for over a decade.  His transaction experience spans across a number of sectors including: consumer, transportation & logistics, distribution and applied technology.
