Tiger Group’s Salazar Named Co-Chair of TMA’s Southern California Chapter

Michelle Salazar, Director of Business Development for Tiger Group’s Remarketing Services division, was named Co-Chair of the Southern California chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). In this role with the TMA chapter, she will be Co-Chair of Programs for 2014 and 2015. She has been a member of TMA since 2004.

In addition to her work with the TMA, Salazar serves as the Co-Chair on the Board of Directors of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation-Southern California Network, and is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and California Receivers Forum. She has served on the ABI Advisory Board for the LA Bankruptcy Battleground West Conference since 2012 and the TMA Western Regional Planning Committee since 2013.

From her base in Tiger’s metro Los Angeles office, Salazar is responsible for developing insolvency business opportunities and relationships by reaching out to insolvency professionals on a national basis. Her responsibilities also include spearheading bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy industrial asset disposition projects.

A resident of Los Angeles, Salazar graduated from Texas State University, San Marcos TX in 1992 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Political Science.
