Fintech GreenSky Names Goldstein Chief Credit Officer

GreenSky, Inc. announced that Kevin Goldstein has joined the Company as its Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. He will be responsible for both credit risk management and for the overall credit quality of the consumer loans facilitated through the GreenSky technology platform.

“GreenSky has a vast opportunity to increase the volume of loans originated through its propriety, mobile technology platform. Kevin brings deep knowledge and extensive C-Suite experience managing consumer credit risk as we accelerate our growth,” said David Zalik, Chairman and CEO of GreenSky. Mr. Goldstein added “A growth-oriented company delivering a virtuous cycle of utility to consumers, merchants, bank partners and shareholders alike breeds excitement. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Goldstein joins GreenSky from PayPal where he led Business Development of its Global Credit unit after acting as General Manager for its North American Credit Business. Prior to joining PayPal, Goldstein served as Assistant Chief Credit Officer at Capital One where he oversaw strategic innovation opportunities and also led both Subprime and Upmarket customer management departments for its domestic credit card businesses. Previously, he was President of Citigroup’s Universal Cards portfolio. Prior to that, at Wells Fargo, he led the Card Payment Division and was Chief Credit Officer for Wells Fargo Consumer and Small Business Divisions. During the earlier part of his career,  Goldstein held senior positions with First Chicago, GE Capital and Chase Manhattan Bank. Kevin attended the University of Nebraska and Columbia University.
