Moritt Hock & Hamroff Adds Mazzagatti as Partner

The law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff has announced that Frank A. Mazzagatti Ph.D., Esq. has joined the firm as a Partner in its Corporate and Healthcare Practice Groups, resident in the Garden City, NY office.

Dr. Mazzagatti represents hospitals, healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, group practices, skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory surgery centers and office-based surgical practices with various transactions, healthcare corporate compliance, regulatory law, license defense, accreditation and governments/third-party audits in New York, New Jersey and before the federal bars. Dr. Mazzagatti holds a faculty rank of Adjunct Professor of Law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he teaches Health Law. Prior to his legal career, he held numerous executive healthcare administrative positions including Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at The Parkway Hospital in Forest Hills, New York; Vice President-Operations at the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Brooklyn, New York and Executive Director of CARES at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey, to name a few. Dr. Mazzagatti has also been a licensed and registered Respiratory Therapist since 1987. He earned his Ph.D. from Columbia Southern University and his J.D. from the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University.
